to those that have mods on their cars - any issue with warranty work or scheduled BMW maintenance?
I have JB4 on its way and considering which air intake (recommendation would be appreciated too).

1 questions that got me a little confused
- aFe Stage 2 Sealed Air Intake vs BMS Dual Cone Setup, is there a huge difference in performance as aFe is $500 and BMS is only $100

Thanks!

BMS dual works fine. Don't waste your money

Thanks!
I'm leaning towards the BMS, unless anyone wants to chime in before I make the purchase within the next few days.

Whatever became of the ESS intercooler? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Is there a consensus on the best FMIC for the E89?

I see no mention of Terry Burger's JB4 G5 upgrade or the fact that he is working with (deleted by someone).com on a totally free open-system flash. BMS will provide their back-end flash free of charge should you be making big HP.

Just a short cross-confirmation - Quaife ATB LSD fits to and works in 30i MY2009. Would name the "surgery" difficulty around grade 3 or 4 on scale 1thru10.

Too early for some serious observations as I´ve test driven few miles only.

Frankly speaking - pardon, writing - I do not know. Neither the cardboard box it came in nor the invoice bear any identification. I was ordering it thru local garage, upon VIN code.

Ok, thanks. On the Quaife site it lists as BMW Mini and in the description it has the one of the mini cooper models. Could not find any lsd specific for BMW.

Actually I needed this one: http://quaife.co.uk/node/3946

Thanks for the link though because the US site for quaife did not have one listed for the E89.

Question

I'm looking forward in buying a 2011 z4 35i and also wanted to know which brand in your opinion could get me to the best tuning. I was looking at man hart racing and I saw the stages go up to 5 with 512 hp. Do you think it's emission would be approved/legal in the US?

Hey,

Does anyone have pics of the OEM HPFP location on E89 35i? I want to upgrade mine with VTT Shotgun unit, the thing is i don't have access to my car right now and Vargas isn't sure if their HPFP fits in there or not.

Thank you

Have you ever bothered to look at REALOEM.COM?

Left front of engine below the intake runners.

Of course i know where it's located. I want to know if there is space behind the OEM unit for a larger pump. This is the upgraded pump.
