Trading Z4 for i8?

Anybody planning to do that? I am saving my money now, anybody knows the estimate selling price for i8?

Well, a goggle search indicates preliminary pricing was $160K USD, but that keeps getting bumped up. One of the latest news bits says closer to $300K. I think I will keep my Z4 and buy some other toy!

I love the environment as much as the next guy, but 0-60 in 4.8s is too little performance for that kind of money, in my books. I would personally prioritize a Gallardo instead.

The car will go for $90K but the Power Package (PPW) will be an additional $60K. For that, you'll get the required BMW proprietary plug in cable and a USB outlet in the glove box

$100k or under I will drive it FIRST and consider it as my wife loves it - I would only opt for the convertible though, add $20k. If it truly is a driver's car despite the hippy green techno save the planet crap, maybe. Probably would opt for an Audi R8 instead.

By the time the i* comes out the new gen R8 would be out already so let's hope the new R8 looks better or at least as good as the current gen.
