At least you are one of few % that you can see ahead of what would happen to the company and with their staff.
I don't want to be Mr. Obvious, but start looking every day/night. Apply. IF you are for 95%+ sure you and/or your staffs are in the list, i would use up sick/personal days. I use to use those sick/personal days when I need to do interviews. Keep us updated! |

What is your field and where in Flo Rida? Sucks dude, I've been on that boat before. Will they offer severance pay? Start looking at the unemployment website and get that ball rolling.

Been there before...
-Polish up your résumé. Write a semi-generic cover letter than can be quickly edited to suit the specific job. Go out and spend like $10 on cotton-based stationary paper, to make it look like you give a shit. -Email a copy to yourself. Then if yo come across someone, you can forward it to them on the spot... -Start looking. Word of mouth, Craigslist, online sites, go door-to-door, whatever. -If you're willing to move, you have even more options available. -And don't be afraid to negotiate. Even if they won't budge on the starting pay, ask about vacation time upfront, raise schedule, etc... -best of luck. What is your line of work? |

The whole reason I was here was to use it to help pay for school, but oh wells. The drive sucks too. |

Lol, kinda need money to travel that far. Oh well, party like I was there! I took this job because it was closer to school, they pay was decent and the benefits started day one. Not worth it at all - work is boring, the environment is toxic and the drive (1 hour or so 4xish miles 1 way) are just killer. I had a backup option I guess I have to look into. |

Well don't tease me. I just need something I can do until I graduate. I don't mind whatever it is, as long as it isn't retail (and pays decent!)
