Any z4 tuning?
I'm ready to lay down some serious cash on some tuning products, but still haven't heard of any specific mod for the z4. I'm not certain if the 135i N54 products are compatible or shall we wait on specific z4 tunes?
My buddy picked up an ISF and its pretty fast. The viper doesn't have a problem beating it, but I want the z4 to represent So far I've been hearing a lot about Vishnu and JB3. But the websites don't list anything in particular to the z4. Also their boost air vent boost gauges is a must have for me if they ever release an overlay for the z4. |

JB3 in Z4
I have the JB3 in my 2009 Z4 3.5 and in my 135i. Runs amazing in both cars, putting down over 340 hp and 360 ft/lbs torque TO THE WHEELS with just the JB3 and the BMS Dual Cone Intake (DCI). I have the PMP (plug and play) version of the JB3. Install in the Z4 takes 10-15 minutes.
Get yourself this setup at BurgerTuning.com. You won't be disappointed. And Terry's (the owner) customer service cannot be beat! |

I've got the JB3 (running fairly conservative program #3) and dual intake on my 35i. I'm very happy with this combo and recommend it highly.
I love my 35i but was looking for a little more power given my former car was a M6. I was originally thinking to go with a future Dinan solution, but after reading all the positive reviews on the JB3 I decided not to wait. These simple mods really did the trick. Car performs significantly better, seems to run a little smoother, gas mileage is unaffected and sounds great (intakes). Even after the M6, the 35i with JB3 accelerates fast enough to put a smile on my face! Just be careful to run a conservative JB3 program to avoid over-torqueing and throwing service codes and to remove before taking your car to the dealer for service. Given the install is very easy/quick, the latter should not be a big issue. Enjoy! |

Whatever we install on the car that are not BMW parts will void the warranty.
So everything will have to be removed before taking the car in for servicing or they'll put you on their black list. |
