I was just thinking the same thing... He totaled his first 09' 35i, then bought this one and shortly after rear ended someone, and now he lost control and totaled it... maybe its time for a minivan

I was cleaning up the garage and found pics of my old E89, and wanted to stop by and say hi.

Sorry to hear about your car OP, and good luck with your next one.

You must have been really going for it to hydroplane PSS tires (I didn't have any hit of hydroplane risk on the a-bahn during my rainy F80 euro delivery unless I was over 100mph...) Glad you are ok

Alternatively he's making our cars far more of a collectors item

Sorry for the delay in posting an update. The car was declared a total loss as the repair bill estimate exceeded $26k. I had the option of keeping it and fixing it or getting a check for it. I would've gladly kept it, but the salvage title would've been an issue for me, so I decided to get a check instead.

Just an FYI, I spent roughly around $6k in upgrades on the car (upgraded stereo cost $3k, $1300 on rear camera, $700 on ESS tune, $400 on sound deadening, and the rest on misc) and the insurance company would only reimburse me $1500 for those items, even though they were recently installed and I had all the receipts. So all in all, I lost quite a bit on the investment

And, I'm going to purchase another 35is on Friday...... So I'm going to stick around here for a while.

We should do a poll to see how long the next one will last...
