Reprogramming needed different rim size?

Hey,

Quick question: I'm currently running 17" winter wheels + tires. All 4 tires are equal (225/45 I believe)
Next week the 18" summer wheels + tires are being fitted. Rear tires are larger than front (255/35 and 225/40)

I wanted to have the work done by my local mechanic here in the village, as he does the service on my straight-forward Land Rover too and he's a good guy. But suddenly I realised that the different wheel size might effect speedometer, etc. Can he do this job or would I need to go to a BMW dealer?

By putting on a staggered set up, you are returning to stock.
