Fuel Induction Service
I was at the dealer getting a check engine light taken care of (apparently a software update was required due to a catalytic converter fault) and the dealer "recommended" a Fuel Induction Service for $259. I was a bit surprised by this and declined.
Is this something that is actually useful? Just never heard of it before. Also, if recommended, why wouldn't this be covered under the maintenance plan. |

Did they explain what it was and what it would do? Not heard of anything like this before, unless it's just a marketing name for a fuel system flush with some additives?
