DRL's not illuminating upon unlock

Anyone else have this happen? All other lights come on as normal when I unlock the car as normal. I do have Idrive and toggled the welcome lights and DRL options on and off.

Was thinking of pulling the negative terminal on the battery to do a hard reset on the car.

Has this stopped totally? This can happen when you unlock and re lock the car in quick succession.

may try driving it around first and see if that clears it up?

Or check fuses?

Not sure I'd do a hard reset since that might clear any diagnostic codes

Actually, you are correct. I did replace the turn signal indicators with LED and tested them by unlocking and locking pretty quickly.

However, I waited overnight and they still didnt come on when I tried in the morning.

FYI: The DRL's do work when the car is running or the headlights are on.

Got the battery warning light today. So, as its going on 3 years now and I dont have or use a trickle charger, sounds like its time for a replacement.
