Any Top Down Rattles?

With all the linkages involved in moving the roof, has anybody noticed any rattles coming from the stored top? I get this feeling that if nothing rattles, something will eventually.

4K miles in E89 and 30K miles in E93: zero rattles. YMMV, but suggest worry about something else.

I had some squeeks. The dealership lubed all the rubber seals in the roof mechanism and the squeeks went away.

Rattles are always expected in this type of cars. Just take it to the dealer to lube it up. Or you could just do it yourself.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess this may be a do it yourselfer every now and then. As long as the rattle isn't anything major, I can live with it.

So are you worried about your Cayman's roof rattling? Or do you own a Z4 now?
