WOW!!!! News flash - BMW needs to include those mats in their next accessories catalog as an alternative to those crazy expensive custom made carpet floormats w/ the BMW insignia.

What the heck were they thinking!

Bottom line: if you like 'em and and they work for you - FTW.

In Italy they are named prayer carpets, used at each side of the bed, for the "goodnight pray.....
There are a lot of old Mercedes benz fan here in Italy(huh, and also Germany) that use more those carpets than the original......Dunno why...

yeah it's tipical german taste, I think the owner is the same I saw in berlin eating spaghetti alla bolognese with raspberry marmelade in it, instead of tomatoes....

I so want to stop choosing stereotyping options, but I'm not sure which of the many available stereotyping options did you object to?

1) The allusion to the carpets being from Germany,
