H&R Vs Eibach on M adaptive
Hi Guys
Which of the two springs H&R/Eibach on M adaptive suspension - 1. Best for overall ride comfort and handling 2. Sit highest as I dont want it fully slammed thanks |

Not sure that anyone here has tried both. Maybe? Anyway the H&R's definitely set the car nicely, but whether you think they are low is another matter. I will say, specifically with M adaptive, that the rear spring/shock dampening combination is not correct. The car rides a bit stiff but more importantly the rear end is not set in spirited driving when the road surface and angles are not near perfect. Rather un-BMW. I suspect this is why so many street Z4 drivers are going to Variant KW3's. I initially didn't as frankly coil-overs are ridiculous overkill for a street car. But that said, if one can't get the springs and shocks working well together ... coil-overs it is.
KW3 owners also claim a softer, smoother ride. I will probably stick with the Eibachs for a while, as the coil-overs are a good drop of changed and I've been plumbing $$$$ into my car these last six months. See what others have to say, though ... Filippo
