racing strips on a z4

How about just doing the center V section of the hood starting right around the bumper's BMW roundel. Some one may be able to do a photoshop of it....

My only "thing" would be attracting all the little kiddos with the farting Hondas, the 200mph rust buckets, and all the little noise maker cars. Unless you are into that sort of thing...
