Ultimate Z4 Upgrade

Manhart Racing is offering V8 & V10 upgrades to BMW Z4's, ranges run from 400 to 755HP. No word on prices but rumor on the German forums puts the packages at Euro 30K to 50K. Required also are mods to the suspension and brakes, some conversions require the 7speed SMG tranny. Check it out at http://www.manhart-racing.de/DE/cont...orumbauten.htm

Might be a cheaper way to get a Z4 GT3 equivalent for a lot less money

I'm curious about ppl doing engine upgrades: what happens to the old engine?

Btw, finally a company decided to do this, that's great.

If I were to put a V10 in my Z4, I'd reuse the Z4's I6TT in my lawn tractor. And the lawn tractor's Briggs & Stratton in my food blender...

I think V10 will be too heavy and affect the handling.

The M3's V8 would be just fine in the Z4.

I'm sure the chassis could take 400 hp. Not too sure about 550...
