The damaged Z4 journey continues; they repainted the hood and front bumper at their BMW Certified and Dealer owned body shop. I hoped for the best and the paint looked good but the clear coat was not well buffed out in areas on the bumper (think concave curves and front lip), which left some foggy areas. I saw this problem immediately and so did the service rep once I pointed it out. Do they even check their quality before giving to a customer??? I think I am now actually mad. Let's remember: ordered July 15, picked up in Munich at Das Welt on August 17, dropped off in Munich without a scratch on August 24, in country at port September 29 - and I still don't have the darn car!!!!!!!! amazing in a very bad way

I'd be upset if it took this long. Are they picking up the payments in any way until you take final delivery?

ED was incredible but the shipment from Munich to Arlington, TX has been a disaster. Enjoy it as it is the experience of a lifetime; plus, I already drew the short straw - you will be fine.
