like those wheels, can you take a closer pick of the side air vents, and link to how what you did they look great. Also those 100mm tips where can one pick up a pair for a 35is

Thank you.

I've made them out of the original parts + e82 ///M turn signals.
Detailed pictures will follow, when I've finished them. But this will take some time...

Side air vents/ turn signals: See my answer above

100mm exhaust tips: I've also build these out of other OEM-parts - I don't like the quality of most of the aftermarket parts. But they are not easy to build.
We've also installed the same tips to a friends 35i - he painted them black.
In black they are also looking great, don't they?

I've seen that you are from Switzerland. Perhaps I can sell you a pair, if you're interested?

Interested in a set, do these just slip on over the OEM tips? Going outside today I didn't realize how much of a gap there is between the bumper and the OEM tips. This fills them out perfectly.

Nice mods.
Do you have a Parts list by change for the side marker replacements? They look great.
Are these tips available from BMW by asking for 100mm tips?
Are these bolt on or weld on?
Thanx in advance

Thank you!

Sorry folks, at the moment no more information.

Exhaust: No p&p - it is very difficult to adapt.
The inner pipes are also needed, because these already have a bigger diameter than the outer 35i-tips.
Not available @BMW.

Turn signals: I am pissed off of plastidip. It destroyed the surface of my vents. So I have to work on that again. But I have no time for that at the moment.
It will take some time. Please be patient! I will keep you informed.

The winter is coming faster than we expect. So I already bought some new winter-rims and test-fitted the rear one in the meantime:

Beforehand I was not sure, but they fit perfectly!

I am considering to paint them anthracite or leave them in the original silver powdercoat...
I prefer anthracite, but don't know if I shall do that already at the beginning or perhaps wait one or two winter-seasons, so that I get again "new" rims after a certain period...

I think they look nice in anthracite, blends nicely with the color of the car, as you say they can be done later.

I decided to go first with the oem colour. In this way I will have "new" wheels in some seasons again, when I'll change the colour.

But to be honest - I really like the silver on the space grey.

I've prepared the wheels for the winter, today (everything is TÜV approved):

The pictures were taken directly after the assembly - of course it will lower a bit within the next days with my Ac Schnitzer (Eibach).

I really like the OEM-CSL-wheels - what do you guys think?

I would also like more information on the tips and side markers! I think a number of us would be willing to buy them from you!

I love the look of those wheels. They look excellent in silver. I would keep them exactly as they are!

SG with silver rims is the way to go! I also thought about getting black rims for my former SG M3 but also desided against it.

You will not regret the Eibach Pro Kit. I also have them with H&R sway bars and the Schmickler setup, the car rides completely different after that. No 'boat feeling' any more...

No used tips available at the moment. The prices are not interesting when you have to buy them as new parts.
I will check ebay the coming weeks for a good offer. But again - thes are not p&p!

The turn signals will be a project for the winter.
But I don't know if I shall do a small series??? I guess they would be too expensive.

Black rims would be a no go - too "Asi"...
Gunmetal or silver. At the moment I am happy with the silver colour.

I already have the AC Schnitzer (=Eibach) springs installed. I meant that they will lower, because always when you jack the car, the springs are a bit higher afterwards and need their time for lower again.
But indeed - the Schmickler setup is on my list - Schmickler is located not far away. I've already driven a Schmickler car and 3 mates already made the setup - a completely different car!

If you have the opportunity you should also check ECU tuning stage 1 of them (called "V1"). The power distribution is much better afterwards. You will have no huge gain, just more torque and it seems the engine is more happy to rev. It is also worth it...

V1 wouldn't be interesting. I've already installed a more powerful tune.
A friend will swap from JB4 to version 2 or 2+ on Monday. Afterwards we will do a comparison. Afterwards I will perhaps also change my ecu tuning - but I don't think so.
