Took the camera out of the Z4 last week at EAS

Installing it onto the new one tomorrow on the new Z4 :P

Im in the middle of the install right now. Its a nightmare. And ive taken my previous cars completely apart before lol

Somewhat looking at the pdf thats on the site but its for a 3 so the dash is totally different.

The main issue i have right now is that the wire you have to plug into the screen doesnt fit. Its straight and the oem one is 90 degrees, the design of an e92 this doesnt matter but on the Z it does.

I have to call them.

If space is tight RAM could probably give you the dimensions if you call them. There could also be more compact versions available, or could you cut off the existing connector

No its not any over the counter type of cable ive ever seen. Its the oem cable thats connects the screen to the navi.

After some modifications i got it to work.

Everything is wired up but now when i put it in reverse all i get is a solid red screen.

Waiting for a response from alekshop before i can continue.
