MHD Tune- Timing pull
After running JB4 and Cobb V3, I am running MHD Stage 2 map right now, and very happy with that. Pulling stronger than ever in my opinion. After getting some logs for custom tune, we realize that there is a lot of timing pull, even though I changed the plugs and coils couple weeks ago.
Ken from Wedge performance told me that it looks fuel related. Here is the log http://datazap.me/u/talhagursoy/data...7-8-9-10-11-21 Talked to Martial from MHD, he said "the current 93 maps are calibrated for 93 e10, which is 1-2 degrees too aggressive for regular 93 that doesn't contain ethanol like we have here for instance in Germany" So I decided to go with 91oct map with 93 gas, and problem is resolved Here is the log after 91 oct map http://datazap.me/u/talhagursoy/91-o...7-8-9-10-11-21 So if any of you running 93 oct MHD map, downgrade it to 91 oct or you can drop a few gal of e85 in the tank to get the ethanol content up a few points. They are working on the new maps, will be published soon.

Aren't the majority of the 93 octane gas in the US E10? Wouldn't this mean running OCT93 maps would be ideal and you would only use a OCT91 map with 93 octane gas is if you go to a pure gasoline station.

It depends on each state in my opinion. People from different states have no problem with 93 oct maps, but I got some. Finally fixed it with custom map with zero pulling and it is more like 93 oct map. Thats right, but you have to install and get some logs to see how you fuel system does.
