313 or 326 wheels?
So...I am thinking of changing the wheels of my z. It is equipped with m sport package, but 18" wheels. Basing in what tou have seen, both personally or only in pictures, what is your veredict? What set of wheels is the best good looking for the z?
Thanks!! |

They both look great. The 326 look very agressive and are very concave. I have the 326 and have only seen the 313 on pictures. The 313 are lighter (<12.6kg and 13.2kg each Vs about 14kg for the 326) and look more like bicycle wheels to me. It looks like the 313 also could possibly offer more clearance for big brakes.

It's not being easy to choose between those two. I have only seen 313 on the internet. I think 326 are great, but I have a Good deal to buy 313. I don't really know...do you have pictures of these? Thanks!

both of those are 19s?
Personally, I'd go with neither and keep 18s. Between the two you mentioned, 313. They look great on the 335is and 135is and are very uncommon on the Z4 |

I think I am going for the 313's. They look different from the other z4 rims. I haven't yet seen any picture where I can really apreciate its beauty...do you have any?

Here they are on mine... The two tone effect is what sold me over the 326. That and the fact that I got a great deal on the 313s that meant they cost me £400 for the full set once I'd sold the tyres that came with them! Very happy.

I suspect this would be better if I went to 18" wheels to get a bit more compliance in the sidewalls |

Haven't seen any 313 pics here, so had to weight back in. Went from the original 18's to these beautiful 19's. Actually wasn't happy with the rear wheel hop on the 18's, and going to the 19's did not seem to make any difference good or bad, but it did seem to ride better over rough surfaces a bit. I did, however, seen a noticeable improvement in replacing both the Springs and Sway Bars with H&R pieces as far as keeping the tires in contact with the road. The biggest improvement in ride quality, as well as road holding came after I added 5mm spacers on the front and 10mm spacers on the rear [with the required longer wheel bolts per the German T.U.V. rules]. This removed all noticeable over-steer and made the car much better when driving near the limits. have just removed the Winter tires and replaced the bald Bridgestones with a set of Pirelli P Zero's and am still wearing them in, plus the temps dropped here again, so no reports on the current combination yet.

I am lov'in the 19" 313 wheels.
I just saw them on a 2012 M3 today and thought how hot they would look on the Z.

Given the 2 choices, another vote for the 313, they are more exotic imho...I have yet to see them live. They both have similar upfront looks but on the side angles, the 326 seem to be convexing(or concaving?) in a way that looks too strange for me. Hard to explain, they have a weird angle on the spokes. |

+1 that's my SWAG too.. smallest wheel that clears the brake calipers is usually best... (which in the case of the US spec 35i with the brake downgrade relative to the EU market cars.. is 17s... )

I think when people in this forum say 18s are better is because they are for daily driving and cruising. Coming from an e46 I can say hands down performance was better in every aspect with my 19's. I consider my z more of a cruiser than true sporty. |
