Is there a way to have them fold in and out automatically when you turn on and off the car?

"SmartTop"

and of course you get a lot of other goodies as well besides the mirrors automatically going in and out.

At the end the answer is that you will need to update your car with some non-BMW aftermarket product, and they have pros/cons (SmartTop issues?

This also appears to be something that can be "coded" within the car, if your able to find a dealer or other individual capable & willing to do it.

Love my SmartTop! Does everything (almost) that I would've coded. Except nab acceptance and DVD in motion.

Your dealer will def not recode your car. Try to find someone on this site who's in your area.

It would be nice if we could get instructions/tuto on how remap the car with the features with customized features.
I remember an old thread about it but it didn't get many answers..
