JB4 stage 2 in 28i- questions on install

Hi

I attempted this installation but thought I would ask peeps who have done this already.

First lesson - dont close boot after disconnection of battery - as you can not open it afterwords PMSL!

However on an more serious note.

Are the CAN wires in the single felt-tape holding the wire bundle together and pull out the blue and red CAN wire bundles?

There is space to hold the JB4 in the housing - but how do you get the cables to leave the housing, there is an proportional grommet on the top of the housing but an hole is needed to made.

Any advise appreciated

I believe you got your answer on N54Tech, but I found this confirming the red n blue twisted are used for brown n green JB4.

PMSL - No

But pulls like an steam train - not quite as intensive as my old 335i - but that is displacement 4u. But its not bad at all.

And on normal commute getting great MPG = every one is an winner.

Booked it in for an rolling road, so lets see what shes got

Hey there,

Any results on the dyno yet? Thinking of the JB or the offerings from TMC, still undecided.

Is your 28i stock apart from the JB?
