Aftermarket Sub?

Aren't there 2 subwoofers in the hifi logic 7 behind the seats?
I get my car in 1 week, so will let you know then.

Yes, there is a 10" inch sub behind each of the seats. So, there are two total.

Do these come without the premium sound?

Just curious as I have the premium sound and am extremely impressed with the subs that came with it. For a factory system, they are very good IMHO. Sure, I could do better with aftermarket, but for a factory system this exceeded my expectations.

I have paid for the premium sound, but sometimes i doubt if they have really put it in...

2 Subwoofers are mounted directly behind the seats under the roll bars. (Item #2). They have approx 8" round grills - crank up the stereo you will/should feel them.

Problem is in belgium we can choose between the hifi system (245W) and the hifi system professional (650W)

I'm in doubt if i have the pro system as ordered... I don't really feel the punch of the subs. I also think the system doesn't even have crossover filters.

edit: both systems probably have the subs behind the seats.

Both subs should be visible behind the seats.

I can imagine that 245 watt won't give you any punch when driving topless.

The difference between the hifi 245 watt and professional system is visible. Number 6 & 7, these speakers are not present in the 245 watt setup. The center cover plate can easily remove and mounted by hand (without tools).

I thought this thread was about after market subs? Seeing as I bought a pre registered Z4 with perfect spec except any sound upgrade, I too would be interested in anyone who has fitted any after market equipment in the spaces BMW have left for their own upgrades.

I'm thinking speaker upgrades, tweeters, 2 8inch subs, and a plug n play amp. Nothing over the top, just something better than the best option BMW offer.

Anyone?
