Hi guys,

I used the smarttop for a while and, even if I loved it, it has to go...

Reason is, my roof had two relays failing (which was going on before I installed the smarttop), and while it was covered under warranty, I'm too afraid to re-install the smarttop and potentially void the 2 year repair warranty the dealer issued.

So... any takers? Would prefer local pick up but will ship if needed. I paid $300 to a forum member which I think is a super good price.

what were the symptoms of your failing relays may I ask?

The roof would stop somewhere in the process while putting it up or down. After pressing the button again it'd work. Until one time it didn't anymore and just got stuck. Good thing that I wasn't on a road trip or had anything important in the trunk... since it locked away all access to it.

I am interested! Is the smart top module the STLFBW3? I have a 2011 335i e93 and it should work for my convertible as well. Let me know if its still for sale? Also I am in the Bay Area so I wouldn't be able to pick it up :/. PM me if your still selling please!
