Yes. And I plan on doing many track events. But I also like drag racing. I am making a dual purpose car.

Considered drifting instead? Less grip = more fun, you know ;-) And at least as challenging / rewarding as improving track times.

Anyways... slicks on the track would make me worry about the lack of dry sump on this car... at least one N54 has died from this.

drag racing with the N54 is really popular because of the cheap/easy power you can get out of them. This motor is a beast.

yes, and modified sports cars need time slips to prove they are fast

on street tires I did 12.7 @ 109 with no traction. I wasn't able to go full throttle till past the 60 foot mark. Im sure with slicks I can hit 12.4

Italy, did you try posting on e90post? There are more speed enthusiasts on that forum. E89 post is great for cup holder questions, not too much info on performance. Lol
