Got This In the Mail from BMWUSA

Just a little surprise from BMW, not really a big deal but I figure I'd share anyways.

At first I though I just got a new stainless steel key, was psyched but it's just a 2GB USB with a bunch of info regarding BMW and BMW Financial. Has about 1.5GB of free space and it looks pretty cool so I'm not mad at all. This is actually pretty hefty and feels heavy.

I assume every BMW owners gets one of these?

Swedes never get anything!

No books and cd about the Z4, no USB memory, not even a keychain!

The doctors at BMW AG doesn't seem to understand that their EU costumers in this "connected" world can see what's going on next door!

Now I am pissed!

Was thinking of changing my old 320 for a new 1 or X1.

Deal's off! Will never buy a BMW again! Just because of a 20$ USB memory

You will likely get something on your 1 and 2 year anniversary. I got the memory key on my 1st and a pen on my second. They should have sent me at least a $50 shirt as I have purchased about 12 BMWs since returning from Germany in 1982 with a bad case of "German Car Fever". I have yet to be cured but am seriously considering a move to Audi if BMW doesn't increase their offerings of diesels. Over 50% of their cars sold in Europe are diesels and they are only offering one model right now, the X5, with a diesel.

Bought mine slightly used as a certified preowned BMW but haven't gotten anything. Guess, preowned buyers don't count. Still love the car, USB Drive or not!
