After weeks of OCD planning and maneuvering, I finally ordered my 2012 Z4 35i. Week 14 build - should arrive mid to late May. This is a lease. For those interested:

I truly went nuts over the melbourne vs crimson red choice; (can't get MSport with CR) but the improved grille, rear end, steering wheel, 325M wheels, and the other little "M" things just made the car.

I also test drove the 28i blown 4-banger back to back with the I-6 300 hp version. The 28i is fabulous, but the 6 is sublime. To me, that was worth the extra few dollars (and more gas expense too).

Congrats, nice options. You really can't get crimson red with M-Sport? I thought that was possible.

Also, have you considered MSD to lower your monthly payments? Just a suggestion.

Way to go. I'm glad you pulled the plug on the M Sport. Our cars are the same except for the choice of transmission and interior color. Congrats!

No CR & MSport on the 2012 Z4. Bummer. Yes - I did consider multiple SD's... but with interest rates and conservative (i.e. safe) ROI's so modest these days, it didn't make much difference except for a higher monthly payment with MSD's. I'm OK with the $5K cash down.

I also tried to get Crimson Red with M sport, but no go. However, I think Melbourne is an awesome color too. Different, but still very cool.
