Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix

Was wondering if anyone was planning on attending the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.

Apparently the BMW Pavilion will be hosting a "Z Car" event/show:

Awwww... that's cool. If only I didn't live over 2000 miles away.

Well, funny you should ask. I just saw this last night (the part about the Z cars, not the PVGP in general, which I've been aware of/wanting to attend for a few years now).

Talked about it at dinner, and thinking I very well might go. Unfortunately, the Mrs. won't be able to, so if I do looks like I'll be going solo.

However, car will be about a month old (give or take), and the drive will help get over the break-in period hump.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet but seriously considering it.

That's what the performance center delivery did for me. As hard as it was to get my "new" car home with over 800 miles on it, it sure did take a bite out of the break in period.

Exactly. And I'll be driving it as much as I can the first however long it takes me to get over the damn 1200 mile period. Like a grandma, I might add, which makes it even worse, ha. But, a trip like that could take a chunk out of it, couple it with a trip to Michigan either before or after and that might do the trick in full.

I haven't made any final decisions either, but I suspect that my wife and I will shoot up to PA for it. She's pretty excited about it (always looking for a reason to take a little vacation).

Hopefully, I can talk my aunt into doing it too (she lives up there and I sold her my 2006 3.0si back in December).
