Number of airbags

Hi.

Could someone tell me how many arbags does the E89 have? My understanding is that the latests models have side airbags but the first ones don't. Is this correct?

I think all e89 only has 4, 2 front and 2 side from the seats.

We have 6? I thought only 4 (for USDM/CanDM)? Link? Maybe the Euro spec has more?

We have knee ones. When I had an accident in my '13 z4 it went off along with the air bag.

Cool, though we only had 4 since I remembered seeing an overhead drawing somewhere...maybe the front ones hid the knee ones.
