The top won't go down and the trunk is looks like a glove compartment. Would it be as beautiful with it's top off ? ....Hmmm, How many times have I asked myself that question...

alan54, I agree with you this machine is stunning.
IMO, the only view that doesn't work for me is the rear 3/4 below. Not sure why, because all the other views work great on this car, including the rear from other angles. It's likely one of those things you have to see in metal. The instrument console is wild (= beautiful) but looks very effective/efficient. Good post! . |

First pic, I agree, but then it's going downhill. I have never liked "designed" exhausttips. Air in, air out.
Anyone knows how much Chip Foose takes for a studie of the E89 (or any other car) if he even does it? |

I assume you're asking about Foose doing a concept design drawing on the e89 like he does on TV or for custom builds? Just a WAG but somewhere between $20k and $100k. Yes, even though he's incredibly busy I think he does custom design on a fee basis. But he also does custom design for major corporations so I'd guess he's somewhat picky about what work he takes on.

Until I saw the Infinity on the bodywork, I assumed it was the next generation Jaguar XK.
Couldn't find a great pic of the XK during a quick search, but here is a current XK. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tanm/398337527/ Paul |

Side profile looks great. The back end to me screams Crossfire.

Very good aerodynamic lines I have to say. I would miss the top down driving. Also think the trunk is nothing to write home about and by the time the designer got to the back end (agrees with others) he must have been to tired

These are my two favorite views of this car:

Remind me to tell the joke about the cockpit some day heck here it is... Tower to Piper 202 "What's your hight and location?" Piper 202 "I'm 6 foot 2 and in the cockpit" you may now ...
