Thinking about a Z4 order. Couple questions...

i have searched and didnt find much.

does anyone have pics of the "dark wood trim" interior option? when i go to build one on BMW's website i only get the option of aluminum and ash wood.

my dealer is trying to sell me on a car with the dark wood trim option, but i can seem to find a picture anywhere.

also, has anyone gotten the GIAC chip on their S35i? how difficult is it to take the ECU out? i had a GIAC chip in my audi and never had any problems.

The sales brochure is full of pics of the dark wood trim... Anthracite - but it is only available with the ivory package of white nappa seats.
Do you mean the anthracite or the lighter ash timber? (which looks remarkably like walnut)

Here's a few:

1, 2 and 3 are Ash Wood.

4 is the Anthracite, but as Stig says, it's only available with the ivory package

Don't know if anyone got the GIAC chip, but several people got their ECU reprogrammed by Dinan, ESS, Hartge...
