Z4 3.0i with M Sports package pics

Saw this at my local dealer today. In my opinion, I think the car looks more classic and cleaner without the M sport package bumpers but after the seeeing the rear valance, I am glad I did not shell out for this. The gray plastic looks almost like a primer job waiting to be painted- it matches nothing on the car, looks like an afterthought or poorly executed aftermarket item, and in my opinion really cheapens the look of the car. The body color treatment on the 3.5 is better but not for me, thanks. YMMV.

Sorry for the crummy Blackberry images; wasn't sure the car would be there tomorrow if I waited to come back with a proper camera. Included a non M Pakage 3.0 on the lot for front end comparison

The front looks better with the M package, but ur right this gray "thing" looks so strange on such a car. At least they finished the paintjob on the iS : ) but still looks ... u know.

I prefer the non M package as well. The rear bumper on all of the models is just not growing on me. I agree, the rear bumper looks like an afterthought or as another poster stated, the rear bumper looks like it is giving birth. Bmw could have done much better if they spent more time planning the M package. It was hastily put together.

the bottom of the front on the m sports package makes it looks like it has a swollen lower lip. I want to like it, but I dont really.

i like the M's front bumper. the rear bumper redesign is horrible. don't like the new sport wheels.

I suspect this M pack would look better on darker colors. The front isn't too bad but the rear is horrible.

I couldn't agree more. I don't like the rear on either model. They ruined the classic lines. Sometimes things like this start to grow on me, but not in this case.
