-He says something and get's everyone up in arms for 10+ days (Depending how egregious the comment was) and makes the rounds.
-The pundits finally settle down over the next 4-5 days after examining it to death.
-Everything returned to homeostasis for a few days and BOOM: He says something else to send everyone into another tailspin.

He has received billions of dollars in global coverage for $0.00.

A man with his level of success does exactly nothing randomly. Nothing. Anyone who thinks he is a fool probably needs to dig a bit deeper and see what is actually going on.
