True Story:

My first couple months on the current job, I rented an apartment until the wife's company bought our house. At 5 months, I was able to negotiate a sweet deal on our house as a cash offer. During the satellite install - the wife called me during work hours because the installer had to move an outlet from one wall to another. The cost was minimal ($50.00 if I recall). I tell this story to tell this story....

When I came to my current company - my predecessor was a horrible leader and spent company funds like it was water. It has been over 3 years, and to this day his legend of lavish spending is still brought up at budget meetings...

By the 5th month at the current company, I was known as the guy who would run a financially tight ship. My Operations Manager just happened to be meeting with me the day the wife called with the news of the $50.00 'fee' to move the outlet. I accidentally answered the phone via FaceTime and she heard the whole conversation.

Once the call was over - she looked at me with shock, "I can't believe she has to call you over $50.00".

"I run my house like I plan to run this department..."

They didn't ask for shit outside of budget that year

Not really ...I'm working daily with microscopes to check quality , but my penis don't fit under the damn thing .
I have 4 female assistant co-workers in the quality section and they said it's just to big caused by my outstanding blood pump , so we need to order bigger microscopes.

It's about the latest new gen.optic fiber connector and it consists of 13 different components .
So I'm working for the moment for you guys , and I'm sure.. soon I become a real American !
In the last 2 years the project was fucked up twice, by the Chinese and the Czech !
My tests of 12 components are already ok ,and in spec but with nr 13 we have serious badass problems but all 13 are required..Otherwise no connector !
So I'm all over on nr 13...
But we/I will succeed !!!
