Original 35i Exhaust but New Tips possible?
I've had my 35i exhaust replaced under warranty and I note now that the tips on the replacement are welded on rather than being an original piece. I'm wondering if I have these spot welds cut off, the tips should remove, but is there a replacement out there? I'd prefer chrome rather than satin.

Very interested in doing the same, do you happen to know what the pipe diameter is that the OEM tips are welded onto?
I really like the carbon Akrapovic tips that are available for the X6 but they are quite expensive and I don't know if they would line up correctly with the rear bumper cut outs on the Z4? http://www.flickr.com/photos/wheelst...n/photostream/ |
