Anyone get an iPhone 5 yet? How will this affect me?

I understand it will not fit in the cradle, but with the adaptor, will the basic functions still work? What will be lost if I get a new iPhone 5? I want a new iPhone 5, but not at the cost of losing the ability to listen to Pandora and my iTunes music.

mines arrived yesterday. the weight difference is very noticeable. it feels like im holding a fake phone because its larger and lighter. the usb cable is different but i didnt have any issue of getting it to work with the car or sync with the computer. Pandora and iTunes music still plays through my car

what i dont like about bmw apps is i cant play music and respond to texts or use another app at the same time. the car will pause my music until i go back into pandora and then it will resume. i cant even lock the phone screen. my other cars, i dont even need to use a usb cable to stream music from my phone. everything is through bt

Enlighten me....not connected it with the right cable yet, and yes all thru iTunes. Can any of you stream thru Bluetooth?

All the time. That, or USB in center console. iPhone 5 no problems streaming, Bluetooth, etc....

No, that's not correct. I have a lot of music that does and does not show the art. I think in most cases (speaking of legal downloads) I haven't bothered to download the art form the CDs I've put on the USB drive - when no art shows....

BMW apps has nothing to do with displaying the art, in the context of playing music from a USB. I opted against having the BMW apps, saw it as a waste of money, and really, if I want to connect to Facebook I have an iPhone and iPad for that.

Haven't checked the software, good point. All I can say is it works in my 2012 Z4.
