Sun visors
Is there some trick to getting the sun visors to swing out and cover the side windows.....or are they just not made to do this? Forgive the question!

I vaguely recall that my old Miata (2000 or so MY) was the same. That's when I started getting sun glasses with some sort of "side shield" or larger fashionable (?) frame that was shading my eyes from the sun entering from the left or right. Much easier nowadays with Oakley's. Just make sure you turn your head before a lane change and don't rely on the mirrors alone...
