HIFI retrofit

Dear friends,

Does anyone know if there is any HIFI retrofit for our E89's?

Like the one that exists for the 1 series and the 3 series?

If not, has anyone tried to add to tr Pto radio the extra tweeters?

Thanks!!

I don't think anyone has gotten this to work real well with the CANBUS system in the car, there was another member who was working on this, but haven't seen any posts on his progress in several month. This guy was attempting it, but there is not factory retro-fit that I have heard of.

If you got Professional audio, that really pretty good for a oem system in an e89.

To add/upgrade you amp, speakers, etc., below is a link for the best course but you'll be giving up functionality of the OEM controls. However, it does take the sound, cleans it up, allows you to rebalanced your system and you use your own amp, speakers etc. Like I mentioned you'll give some up functionality. The other issue is where do you put the stuff. BMW has tucked everything away in order to provide as much storage as possible.
