It can come off the website for other reasons, like if it's being transferred or out for a test-drive, in which case it would be re-posted when the 'hold' is released. But in this case, it sold YESTERDAY. Ugh.
Not sure if you got another "lead" yet, but was browing local dealer's web sites (local to me and found this one:

Note: this is most likely a 2010, not a 2011.

Thanks for the lead --- I'm checking the BMWUSA pre-owned website almost hourly waiting for new Z4s to be listed. The one you posted is a very nice color I hadn't considered before, but I'm going to start looking now. (It's also out of my price range at over $50k).

I'm really looking for a Deep Sea Blue/Ivory White w/Nav (and all the other goodies)... year doesn't matter, but if it's a 30i, I'd prefer a manual.

I'll be sure to post back here when (not "if") I find the perfect Z4.

I found another car that fits the bill (identical to the CARMAX car mentioned above).. here's the link:

http://nitra.bmwcpodealer.com/cpo/Ve...-OH/1546276573

(has all options I want except Prem Sound).

But I think $48,995 is very high for this car, considering the CARMAX car sold for $41,600.

It looks like this one is a 2011 which would explain the price difference. Also, it is sold by a dealer. Any chance it is CPO? Time for you to get your car!

I really don't want to spend >$50k with taxes and such. $45k is my mental limit. So I'm still holding out for a car in the low $40k's

p.s. the car above is not CPO'd.

Give them a call and make an offer, it's the end of the year and the car is in Ohio....not exactly convertible weather there now! I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay, called the dealer and was pleasantly surprised it worked out. Doesn't hurt to make a call! I thought actually getting my car was a long shot but two days later I was driving it.

I have a lead on the perfect car 2009 35i manual trans... the ONLY problem is the interior is black. How hard/expensive is it to change interior color (Seats, door panels, etc)?

Anyone have a white/beige interior they want to swap for black?

The black interior on this car is far better than I anticipated it would be.
Even on DSB color, the black interior is very nice.
I do like the look of the extended Ivory on the DSB, though.

I suspect changing interiors out would be quite expensive - with all the panels, carpet, etc. to consider. I'd guess $3-4K.
