DIY: Steering Wheel Airbag Removal

Couldn't find much info at all for removing the airbag to swap in the new style -/+ paddles, so I figured it out on my own and made a video to hopefully help others. Including a few pics to show the clip you have to move.

You'll need a long, thin flat head screwdriver, a T20 screwdriver, and a T25 screwdriver.

Enjoy!

Zteve

Very informative post, thank you Zteve!

I wonder if it's possible, with maybe a few swapped pins and a spot of sugru, to mod the existing push-pull paddles to behave like the new LCI -/+ style?

What diagrams are you looking for specifically? I have access to most of them, but a bit of a PITA to share them. If you have specific components that you need diagrams for let me know and I'll make them available.
