Change in wheel offset

Question: Will a 5mm change in the offset of the front wheels of my 2010 E89 be an issue? The stock offset is 29 and the wheels I am looking at are 34, or a decrease of 5mm on the inner edge of the tire/wheel.

If 5mm is significant and worrysome, then I suppose I could get some 5mm wheel spacers and all would be good?

You should be fine up to 40 in the front.
