2011 Z35i: things to watch out for?
Hey guys,
Sorry for another one of those "things to watch out for when I purchase ___" threads, but I'm about to check out a 2011 Z4 sdrive35i (manual) with ~44k miles. Anything I should look out for? In particular, I'm worried about the adaptive suspension (which I verified the car has) after reading a few threads here. How often do these blow out, and how can I check the current state of them? I used to drive a 2011 135i which has issues with the HPFP, is that also an issue with the N54 in the Z4? Anything else I need to look out for? Really appreciate the help, hope to join you all here soon. |

I have a 2011 35i ... HPFP, AC are very common issues with Z4. Search for threads for these issues here. Have injectors, engine valve cover gasket, oil filter adapter gasket, battery, alternator thoroughly checked. Also tap the sun visors to make sure they don't rattle. Check with dealer if the car has latest and greatest software updates.
