OBD fault code PO133 and PO153

Guess the honeymoon with my car is over. Yellow engine symbol came on today. The codes are PO133 and PO153 (oxygen sensor circuit slow response, bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1). My husband checked the car with a code reader we have. The car only has about 7,000 miles on it and the HPFP has been replaced and the software updated. Anyone know what 's up. Car seems to be running fine. It is my daily driver and I have a busy week at work.

Got in the car and drove home. The light went off. I have an appointment at the dealer next Monday. Any sense keeping it if the light went off? Crap, I had an Audi that had a spastic check engine light. Hope this car doesn't as well.

Things happen Jayda. Just take it in and have it checked. I am sure it is nothing serious. I think once you find what caused the issue and correct it if needed, all will be fine. Have had my 35i for 6000 miles and have had no issues. Well, a low front tuire, just a natural loss over time due to cold weather here in So Cal. Was near the dealer, drove it in, and they filled all tires, no charge. So, don't worry, you will not have engine lifgr problems. Just enjoy like you have been!

The sensor code sometimes doesn't give you a direct indication of what could be wrong. For instance an ox sensor may be triggered by a lean fuel mixture. Low fuel pressure could cause that but you mentioned the HPFP replacement, so that's a good thing.

Normally I would try to give you advice on how to figure it out yourself and a code reader helps a little bit. But in this case, more complicated test equipment is required. You're doing the right thing by taking it to the dealer and don't worry it's Ok to drive it.
