Wagner Tuning IC install comments

After having this sitting around for the past 2 months, finally had a warm day and decided to get to it and get this installed.

http://www.wagner-tuning.com/BMW-135...ines_p_42.html

Man - the number of screws on the underside of our cars holding on "covers" is incredible.

Simple instructions, pull the covers, remove the old unit, then install. Had to scratch my head and re-read the instructions - yep - missed #3 - "remove this piece of plastic". Instead I just trimmed it. Whole thing was ~90 minutes, and doing this myself while on jackstands took some coordination, as the new unit is ~18 lbs and just bulky. Black unit is stealth, can't tell it's even there

Oil in the old unit was visible, which means OCC in my near future - any updates on "best" (BMS/42DD/???)

Test drive was successful, seems to rev smoother, but who knows. Plan on getting back on a dyno in the next 1-2 weeks to see what has really changed, will report back then.

Absolutely solid, but it's just sitting there passing air

Can't really tell a difference, other than "knowing" it's faster. I don't get on it enough even in this heat (DFW) to see what back to back pulls feel like. Just did a charge pipe and aFe intake - about to get new silicone intakes put on with downpipes - then dyno time again.

I want to get numbers before I start messing with software. I need to just put a JB4 on so I can also log before and after...
