Again more information is needed. Model, type of driving (city/highway), aggressive nonaggressive etc.

You will find a broad range of MPG responses to this question. If you search, you will find a thread on this topic....

If you are concerned with ownership costs, check insurance. Mine went up $45/mo from a 370Z to a Z4 3.0. That was a surprise to me. Personally MPG is not something I care about in a sports car.

YUP. Totally agree. I was expecting 15mpg when I picked up my 35i. getting 23 mpg on the first couple months was a nice surprise.

My insurance went up double from an Accord. painful, but I still smile every time I get behind the wheel.

Yeah, I am smiling like a Cheshire cat that ate the canary driving my Z4 compared to the cramped cabin of the 370Z. The insurance rate was not an issue when it comes to my comfort and shear enjoyment of driving a BMW again. Smile on and enjoy!

I drive 50/50 city/highway. Pretty subdued driver, but get on it once in a while when I can't resist. I'm getting an average of 29 mpg. 2009 3.0 auto trans.

well, I really almost never speed more than 5 mph over and I am generally easy on acceleration - if I put my foot into it, or any other car but for a Prius, mpg sucks

$1 increase in gas cost is going to be $10-14 more per fill up depending on your preference for driving on fumes.

Have one less drink this weekend and call it even?
