Surprise for the wife,Pics added

Evening fellas,

Ive just bought the wife a 2.0 M Sport.

They have got one enroute to the uk should be here in two wks,Had a great deal on it to.

However ive just noticed they are given it a face lift can anyone tell me if it will be the face lift model..It was built in feb.

Dealer told me its the new model as it comes with dab radio standard

Are there any major changes incase its the older model.

cheers

This is not her car,But this is what shes lookin for minus the splitter..But she wants black alloys.Your thoughts would be great.!!!

Garage List
The facelift is on the 2014 models. Just check the model year.

black wheels are so 2002. Dont do it as it tacky and tasteless. 2014 models should be sometime in early summer. May-June

AFAIK the facelift models begin manufacture in April so if yours in already on the way then it will likely not have the facelift.

But honestly - I wouldn't worry, the facelift is so incredibly minor (new headlights and new side gills) that you will barely notice, and if it was a dealbreaker, you can retrofit the lights, the gills might be slightly harder with the indicator lighting, but not impossible.

agreed, since its on the way and you got a "good deal" is 100% sure a pre-facelift. As seb states, if you want similar look you can swap out the bulbs for halos quite easily. Side markers I have yet to see someone do this or the part offered. Much like the one you are picking up I my Z4 is also white and the indicators mesh well on a white car.

Note that car in your pic also has either m-performance grills or carbon fiber ones. stock will have a chrome ring on them.

ditch the run flats if you can and swap to PSS makes the world of difference.

powder coat the wheel spokes black then clearcoat and leave the lip polished!

you could vinyl wrap the roof black as well (contrasting roof is an option on the facelifted model)

We MUST start a Significant Other of the Month (SOTM) award somewhat like our COTM award.
