miro 942 vs bmw perf 313
Any suggestions on which to get. Miro costs around $1700 w/tires and tpms shipped vs, $3600 for bmw 313 wheels/tires
I originally only wanted the bmw 313 wheels, but when I saw the new 3 series without the bmw performance logo, I knew that these wheels may become just standard oem, so why not save some money and get the replica's if they are about the same specs. |

yes, go for the Miro and pocket the cash for goodness sake. I love BMW OEM but they look almost identical, as long as the Miro is not too heavy I would do it for sure.

Pocketing the cash sounds like a very good idea. Plus I didn't want to run RFT again, which comes with the bmw 313's. These miro's come with nito 555 so it be interesting how they perform.
I'll post pics as soon as I order them. I may let go of my stock 19" 296's afterward. |

I'm a major 313 fan, but those Miro's look nice. They seem to have a tad sharper edges than the 313's.
BTW, you don't have to buy BMW wheels and tires. One choice would be to buy the OEMs and then order your tires through tirerack.com. Screw the RTFs. |

Hey neighbor! They look just as good as the OEM. I'd like to see it in person once you get them since we have same color combo.

The Miro 942 wheels are a replica of the BMW Performance 313 wheels. So you're right, they look identical in terms of finish and looks. The BMW Performance wheels are made with a low-pressure cast method as are the Miro wheels. **********s is an authorized Miro dealer so we can help you get these wheels at great prices! Here's a Z4 on the Miro 942s! Here's a rear quarter shot! I would get the factory wheels... How much is it worth to resolve a problem if you have a high speed vibration and both Miro and BMW deny responsibility....
Money wise, I'd order the factory wheels and negotiate them to their invoice price. That should shrink that difference to where it could be more justifiable. |

Also, just as a note. Wheel vibrations can be from a number of reasons: - Loose lug bolt - Improperly mounted / balanced tires - Wheel weight falling during shipment If you're buying a brand new set of wheels with the JWL and VIA certifications (both the BMW Performance and Miro Wheels have these certs), the vibration is NOT going to be from your wheel setup. I would yell at your tire installer for that one. |
