New software out yet

I recall reading sometime in Sept that there will be some new software update to the iDrive where as better iPod support like album art showing. Also a new cable without having to use the y cable? Anyone know if this functionality is out yet or when?

It was not just new software, but new hardware that started with the September or October builds: the COMBOX.

Wonder if this will work with 2011's Thought it was just a software update.

it's hardware and software only available on cars beginning on build date 2011 forward.
