Smile What's the difference between Sport and Sport+?

I'm new to the forum and wondering if someone can help explain the difference between Sport and Sport+.

In both Sport & Sport+ you get different responce from the throttle (more sharp and agressive) and makes the steering wheel a bit "heavier" for more accuracy in higher speeds. In some M adaptive package cars it also makes the suspension stiffer. In sport+ you also have the traction control reduced to somewhat of 50% to make the car a bit more aggresive and sportier. Hope this helped.

Thanks Contantine! That helps a lot! I suspected traction control was reduced in sport+. Thanks for the quick response.

Hi Rachel,

When you have some time make a cup of coffee or a tea then have a read of this review it touches nicely on the subject of your question.

After that take your car for a spin and you can check out what you read in the review.

Welcome to the forum

I wish I knew sport is only 50% traction off

I thought it was 100% so on the rainy track yesterday I kept it on Sport; didnt feel comfortable driving in the wet and rain with 0 traction.

So if you push the traction button is it 100% off?
But then you can't put it into Sport mode (for throttle and steering response improvement) right?

It was still fun on the track; though my friend's e93 M3 out handled me.. I did beat him by 2 cars from 0-80
That put a nice grin on my face

Btw I'm in Cali hehe.
Joke.

For traction control to be fully disengaged you need to press down the DTC button for more than 5 secs then you will clearly see the DTC icon and OFF written under it.

Same thing
Just make sure you press it down long enough to see the "OFF" written in your cluster info screen. If you just press it once its only 50-60% off.
