My Winter Wheel Set None-RFT

Got my Michelin Ice tires (from TireRack) mounted on my winter wheels (found 4 new wheels in Toronto None-OEM). All in all it came in under $1,500- CDN.

I cannot wait until I mount them on my car tomorrow. A few pictures here. I'll post more tomorrow once they are mounted and I washed my car

Wheels are 18x8 with 40 Offset, Tires are 225/40/18 Michelin ICE Non-RFT.

Thank heaven I will finally be rid of the dreadful RFT

Hi constant.s, no for winter you want small width at all four corners eventhough our summer wheel/tire package is staggered

Memphis

I have the same tire on the AWD Jag also, perhaps with the Z4 being a bit lighter then the Jag I do expect to feel a bit of a soft touch, anything will be better then the RFT that soon will be put out to pasture so that they may RIP

Let us hope we do stay right side up time will tell I guess

The one good thing is that I'm averaging 3.8 mpg better than with summers. 18 vs 21.8

But thad like getting happy to receive a packet of peanuts after paying for an airplane ticket

First impressions after taking my car on a 30 KM spin with the new non-run-flat-winter tires over a variety of different road surfaces is excellent. I can best describe it as "A difference between night and day"

I know what I will do come spring with my RFT on my summer wheels

Thanks, I like them as my winter rims. Have seen worse rims with winter tires
