According to fastlaps.com the C7 Z51 is 8.7s, 991S is 8.4s and stock Z435 is 11.5s

Nice! "stage 2" + E50 fuel has knocked off ~2.5s ! Did you by chance time it with 93 octane pump gas?

EDIT: Gallardo LP560-4 is 6.9s ! whoa

Nope, I have not made a video of just using 93.

Just installed a Stage 1 tune on the Z4 last night. Don't really notice much, but didn't expect to. Can't wait to get the FMIC and downpipes installed. After that, I'm heading up to Cobb SoCal to get a pro tune done.

Try the Stage 1 Sport LT map with traction control fully off ?

The traction control really cuts power to limit wheelspin and can make the Cobb feel unimpressive

Interesting. Do you turn traction control all the way off, or will it be sufficient to put it in "Sport+" where the DTC is reduced significantly? Not sure I want to completely disable it.

Installed the ER FMIC this weekend and flashed it to Stage 1+FMIC Sport. This time I tried the ST map. I don't really notice a tremendous difference between the ST and LT, perhaps because of the traction control.

If traction really is an issue, looks like I'll be needing to get an LSD sooner rather than later.

Try 3 gallons of 100 octane per tank of 91, and do a 3rd gear pull on the highway (60-90mph) in sport+

That should highlight the difference and remove any traction or timing related issues. Should be ~100whp gain going to FMIC + chip, which will be noticed if it is all getting to the ground....

Are you still on stock tires? or a relatively street oriented tire like Michelin PSS?

I'll have to try that. There's a decent road nearby where I could try that out.

I am on Michelin PSS, 235/35 front and 265/30 rear. They have plenty of tread; only 10k miles on them.
