UK Dealership 'OTR' costs
Hi,
Would anyone mind sharing what their dealership charged them as the 'On The Road' additional costs? I think I'm being screwed - on the BMW website if you configure a car it adds exactly £950 inc VAT onto the total vehicle price and according to the website it includes: 3 year BMW Dealer Warranty, BMW Emergency Service, 12 months’ road fund licence, vehicle first registration fee, delivery, number plates and VAT. On my vehicle contract the additional 'OTR' costs come to nearly double - £1824.12 and is broken down as follows: Number Plates: 25.54 BMW Service Inclusive: 425.00 Delivery: 699.58 Fuel Charge: 50.00 First Reg Fee: 55.00 S&P: 399.00 Car Tax: 170 So, on top of delivery, registration, plates & tax, which does come to exactly £950 I'm also being charged for service inclusive (fair enough I asked for this), fuel (I guess that's fair) - but what is this £399 'S&P' charge??! Is it normal?? Thanks! |
